Nienke Bassle has been the general manager of the 10,000 HOURS foundationsince 7 years. 10,000 HOURS is an Amsterdam-based foundation that empowers festival-goers to actively contribute to their local community. The foundation teams up with festivals such as Mysteryland, Defqon and Creamfields.The uniting powers of these inspiring and impressive festivals are used to reach as much festival-goers as possible. This way, 10,000 HOURS joins hands with young festival enthusiasts to help local communities and people in need. Since it’s founding in 2010, over 50.000 hours of voluntary work have been made possible. Music, sustainable living and activating youngsters are some of Nienke’s biggest passions and have been a constant factor throughout her career.
