The Future of Radio
Conference
The Future of Radio
Speakers: Danny Howard (BBC Radio 1), Damien Platt (Palms Management), Dean Muhsin (Director, Dispersion PR), mrspring (DJ/Producer), Rida Naser (SiriusXM), Jesper Skibsby (WARM)
Moderator: Dave Clarke (Artist)
Radio never did just curl up and die like it was supposed to do, in fact quite the opposite, thanks to the technology that was supposed to kill it, radio is stronger and has greater reach than ever with listener numbers growing. But can it still break new tracks? And especially in the case of electronic music, what does it take to create great shows that reach the broadest possible audience? Do historical brands like the BBC, Radio 538, France’s FG and Ireland's Radio 2 still matter, or is it all about the content and/or the presenter these days?
