Steppin’ Into Tomorrow x Canvas
The Amsterdam-based music platform Steppin’ Into Tomorrow brings a special ADE night to Canvas, an intimate space located on the 7th floor of Volkshotel. It will be an experience filled with eclectic soulful music, a live performance, and dancers expressing themselves on the dance floor.
Opening up the night is Mab’ish, a rising multidisciplinary French artist based in Brussels who started as a dancer, found her way to the decks, and produces as well. Her unlimited passion for music and art shines through in any setting, whether it’s a dance battle or Gilles Peterson’s ‘Worldwide Festival’, Mab’ish surely brings the right energy.
Next up is a live set by Fenyán from France, who is not just an incredible producer, but one of the top house dancers in the world as well. Last year he self-released his debut album ‘Douvan Douvan’, a unique blend of house, jazz, hip-hop, broken beat, and his Caribbean roots. This will be his first solo performance in Amsterdam, don’t miss it!
To close the night Steppin’ invited the UK’s own Aroop Roy, a heavyweight DJ, producer, and label owner who joins the dots between electronic music and borderless organic sounds. From house and disco, to jazz and eclectic global rhythms, he has enjoyed universal acclaim as a producer and DJ. In the last few years, he has brought wild scenes to festivals like We Out Here, Defected Croatia and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide.
Following several epic B2B sessions, legendary selector Mr Scruff called Aroop an “incredible DJ and ridiculously skilled selector with a warm, soulful, deep and catchy mood that pulls you in and won’t let go.” There’s no doubt that he will light up the dance floor for the final hours.

Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resent to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.

Yes, the Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events. Even if a festival event is sold out, you can still access the event with your ADE Pro Pass wristband. During ADE there are over 500 festival events and hundreds more cultural and conference events you can enter with the wristband. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for ADE Pro wristband holders. This means that, for some of the more crowded events, you have to arrive early to ensure attendance. Once capacity is reached, ADE Pro holders will be let into the event on a one in-one-out basis.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
