Masterclass - Creating from Flow

Speaker: Rakesh Kanhai (Prestige Worldwide)

As an artist you'll have to pave your own path if you want to hone your craft. Flow plays a big part in your creativity, deepening the creative process, discovering your creative identity and even the successes of your favorite artists. Creative blocks are an integral part of your journey. Help to overcome creative blocks, by understanding what types can occur and learn powerful techniques to break through stagnation in the creative process. Talent developer, creative director and cultural policy advisor Rakesh Kanhai works on live shows with artists like Rimon, Gaidaa, Boef, Mula B, Joshua J, Anne-Fay and Sor. Flow is about receiving - about knowing how to get out of your own way to create from within. In his masterclass Kanhai discusses the creative act itself in a context of mental health, spirituality and music as a business. And shares his insight on getting out of your own way and create from the source – to become more of an antenna for creation and less of a megaphone.
