Joost van Bellen presents: Louisahhh / Uzi Freyja / Iris Rijskamp
The Saturday of ADE at Melkweg is all about powerful electronic live acts curated by Joost van Bellen. On the lineup, you'll find artists with a sound at the intersection of raw punk, house/techno, and heavy electro. New York electropunk Louisahhh premieres her new SOLO HYBRID SET. Following previous performances at Melkweg with a full band (including at Dave Clarke Presents) and DJ sets during Pride, she now combines the best of both worlds.
Adding to this is the Parisian swag of Uzi Freyja, who blends playful English and Cameroonian with exhilarating club and punk/horror rap influences. The evening will be framed by an eclectic set from Iris Rijskamp. In short, a night that goes in all directions, just as you would expect from Van Bellen. Expect the unexpected!
Screening before show
Joost selected the new documentary 'S/He Is Still Her/e', about the English avant-garde musician and artist Genesis P-Orridge to screen at Melkweg Cinema. Please note that because of limited capacity a separate ticket is required for the film. After the film, you can stay for the live shows for free.
Melkweg stands for pop culture in the broadest sense of the word. Hundreds of concerts, club nights, (music) films, theatre performances, exhibitions and multidisciplinary events attract thousands of visitors annually.
Melkweg is located in the only remaining factory building on the Amsterdam canal belt: a former sugar and, later, milk factory. The historic building hosts two concert halls, a cinema, a multidisciplinary hall and an exhibition space.
In Melkweg, established names stand alongside new talent, and emerging trends are given the opportunity to reach a wide audience. The diversity in programming and audience, in combination with the different spaces and the special location, have made Melkweg a unique place for years.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.
Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!
Yes, the Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events. Even if a festival event is sold out, you can still access the event with your ADE Pro Pass wristband. During ADE there are over 500 festival events and hundreds more cultural and conference events you can enter with the wristband. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for ADE Pro wristband holders. This means that, for some of the more crowded events, you have to arrive early to ensure attendance. Once capacity is reached, ADE Pro holders will be let into the event on a one in-one-out basis.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other.
