Into the Galaxy: Muziek, Culturen & Verbinding op de Galaxy-boot
Op 17 oktober verandert de bioscoopzaal van de Galaxy-boot, de Starlight, in een
feestelijke plek waar muziek en culturen samenkomen. In samenwerking met COA,
De Vrolijkheid, Music Moves en Amir Projects zijn de bewoners van AZC
Noodopvanglocatie Amsterdam Galaxy welkom voor een avond vol muziek, dans en
culturele verbinding.
Herkenbare klanken uit diverse herkomstlanden zullen klinken door de boxen van de
ruimte, met de traditionele sound van Orkest Partout (@orchestrepartout) en de
arabische beats van DJ Maherrie (@djmaherrie). Dit wordt een avond om even alles
los te laten, te dansen onder de sterren en vooral: samen te vieren!
Voor de vrouwen op de boot wordt er een speciale, veilige ruimte gecreëerd waar ze
vrijuit kunnen dansen, genieten van muziek, en ontspannen met hapjes en drankjes.
Een fijne plek om met elkaar te verbinden.
Into the Galaxy is een besloten event, exclusief voor de bewoners van AZC Galaxy.
Samen vieren we diversiteit, muziek en plezier – en de focus op het maken van
verbinding.

Into the Galaxy: Music, Cultures & Connection on the Galaxy Boat
On October 17th, the cinema hall of the Galaxy boat, the Starlight, will transform into
a festive space where music and cultures come together. In collaboration with COA,
De Vrolijkheid, Music Moves, and Amir Projects, the residents of the AZC
Emergency Shelter Amsterdam Galaxy are invited to enjoy an evening filled with
music, dance, and cultural connection.
Familiar sounds from diverse homelands will resonate through the speakers,
featuring the traditional music of Orchestre Partout (@orchestrepartout) and the
Arabic beats of DJ Maherrie (@djmaherrie). This will be a night to let go, dance
under the stars, and most importantly: celebrate together!
For the women on the boat, a special, safe space will be created where they can
freely dance, enjoy music, and relax with snacks and drinks. It's a warm, welcoming
area to connect with each other.
Into the Galaxy is a private event, exclusively for the residents of AZC Galaxy.
Together, we celebrate diversity, music, and joy – with a focus on creating
connection.

Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resent to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.
Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!
Yes, the Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events. Even if a festival event is sold out, you can still access the event with your ADE Pro Pass wristband. During ADE there are over 500 festival events and hundreds more cultural and conference events you can enter with the wristband. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for ADE Pro wristband holders. This means that, for some of the more crowded events, you have to arrive early to ensure attendance. Once capacity is reached, ADE Pro holders will be let into the event on a one in-one-out basis.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
Please keep in mind: we love being your annual host, therefore, we would like to ask you to enjoy yourself responsibly.
