Greetje Bijma X Oceanic
It’s an extraordinary collaboration: the meeting of leftfield techno DJ and producer Oceanic with jazz vocal artist Greetje Bijma; a sparkling hybrid at the intersection of improvisation and electronics. Enter Oceanic. This rising star in the Dutch electronic underground is known for his mechanical rhythms, minimalist melodies, and vibrant electronics. Although they come from entirely different generations, they instantly found a musical connection. Expect mind-expanding vocals, danceable rhythms, and breathtaking beats. This night will be the official album release of their second album ’Sykheljende Lûden' released at label yeyeh.

The BIMHUIS is the place for pioneering musicians and curious listeners of all generations. It was founded in 1974 as a place to give Dutch jazz its own stage. Soon, it became one of the most important Dutch stages for improvised music. Nowadays, the liberal jazz blood has remained: in the BIMHUIS, rules are still being broken, holy houses kicked down and so-called boundaries crossed.
