Official Launch: Dutch Sustainability Ladder Events (DLE)
Speakers: Gerd-Jan Frijters (Green Events)
This program officially presents the Dutch Sustainability Ladder Events (DLE). Join to learn more about this sustainability model and the plans for further development.
About this program
The Dutch Sustainability Ladder Events (DLE) is a motivating development model – or maturity model. The goal is to harmonize the proliferation of sustainability criteria for events across 13 ESG themes. The model has been developed with input from international agreements, European and National agreements and legislation.
The DLE can be used by Municipalities (policy, permits, subsidies, benchmarkings), organizers and suppliers. An ambition could be to develop this Dutch variant into a EU harmonized set of criteria for events, connected to a CSRD sector standard. This program answers these questions:
– Why has the DLE been developed in an ocean of existing ecolabels and certifications?
– What could be my benefits and opportunities from this model on sustainability gains?
– How could the DLE contribute to a better government/city/event cooperation?
