CSRD roundtable, presented by Circular Festivals

Closed Session. Please note that spaces are limited, and applicants will be reviewed to ensure a focused and high-level discussion. This session is intended for industry experts with knowledge in the field. If you feel your expertise and insights could significantly contribute to the conversation, please apply for participation here.

Moderator: Gerd-Jan Frijters (Green Events)

This industry meeting will discover possibilities for European cooperation on CSRD, e.g. by developing a shared voluntary standard for events. Results will be shared publicly in this CSRD panel organised by ADE Green.

About this program

Urgent new European sustainability legislation is on the horizon, with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) leading the charge. While initially aimed at large companies with over 250 employees, CSRD will soon affect smaller businesses, suppliers, and event organizers — making it a critical issue for the music industry.

In this round table discussion, led by CSRD expert Gerd-Jan Frijters (Green Events), sustainability professionals from key sectors will tackle the pressing challenges and opportunities this directive presents. We’ll explore the implications for the music industry and potential strategies, including a Voluntary Standard for the EU music industry (VSME). Discussion points include:

– How can my organization quickly prepare for CSRD legislation?
– What opportunities for EU-wide cooperation are most relevant to the music industry?
– What sustainability gains can be realized by complying with CSRD?
– How can I effectively manage the financial and administrative impacts?

Who is this program for?
