From Strategy to Stage: Navigating the Artist-Agent Dynamic

Passionate about sharing the often unspoken aspects of the artist-agent relationship, international DJ and Amniote Editions label owner Mama Snake, alongside her agent Charles Green (Omni Artists), will be opening up about everything that goes on behind the flickering strobes and smoke-filled stages where you find your favorite artists.
Within the electronic music industry, the role of an agent is often quite fluid—frequently overlapping with what could be categorized as management responsibilities. In charge of both the strategic direction of an artist’s career, keeping their mental and physical health in mind whilst doing so and collaborating on the artistic vision, agents often wear multiple hats. In this workshop, Charles Green and Mama Snake will dive into the information you can't find online but is essential for developing a strong artist-agent relationship, enabling both parties to excel and understand their respective responsibilities.
From brainstorming sessions, strategizing future gigs, and setting goals and timelines to navigating the complex puzzle of touring schedules and establishing an effective communicative workflow—this session offers an inside look at all the less glamorous aspects that make the glamorous moments possible. This workshop is for anyone interested in either side of the coin, providing an opportunity to ask burning questions about working with or becoming an agent!
Please note: This session is designed as a hands-on workshop with limited capacity to enhance creativity and collaboration. Sign-up forms will be available at the registration desk at Het Groene Paleis (Nes, 42) on the day of the event. Sign-ups open at 10:00 and will be on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled.

Join us at the Felix Meritis for the full ADE Pro programme. The conference is set to be extended by an additional day, taking place from ADE Wednesday to Saturday. Just down the road the prestigious Andaz Amsterdam by Hyatt Hotels is transformed to a buzzing network & business hub from Wednesday to Friday.

ADE Lab returns with a four-day programme from ADE Wednesday to Saturday at the Brakke grond and many more venues around the Amsterdam Nes area.
We do not sell ADE Conference only or Day Passes. The only way to get access to the ADE Pro Conference is the ADE Pro Pass.
