'Wicked' would be the best way to describe Paradiso's kickoff on ADE Wednesday. The legendary dubstep party 'Oi!' celebrates its 20th anniversary with a reunion b2b set featuring Skream and Benga. Neffa-T, Brutuzz, Drew MC, and Oi! founder Gomes are joining them, promising a night packed with grime and bass-heavy sounds.
Barry Can't Swim & Bolis Pupul
Get ready for a thrilling switch-up on ADE Thursday as Barry Can't Swim and Bolis Pupul move from DJ decks to live instruments. These multi-instrumentalists are set to bring a colourful energy to the stage. Edinburgh's Barry Can't Swim, a vibrant voice in electronic music famous for blending house, afrobeat, and jazz, will showcase his skills on drums, guitar, piano, and flipping good old samples. Meanwhile, upstairs, Bolis Pupul, hailing from Gent, will captivate with his analog synthesisers, merging danceable rhythms with experimental sounds. Each with their unique take on electrifying sounds, they are set to get you footloose.

Detroit techno pioneer Jeff Mills returns with good company: Tomorrow Comes The Harvest, featuring keyboardist Jean Phi Dary and tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard. This collaboration began with the Nigerian drummer Tony Allen, a key figure in Afrobeat, and Mills. After Allen's passing in 2020, the project takes on a new chapter with Edouard’s involvement. Tomorrow Comes The Harvest offers a live experience that pushes musical boundaries through improvisation, blending sounds, and exploring the unknown. Speaking of live improvisations, Speedy J and the STOOR crew return to Paradiso for a two-day audiovisual spectacle: STOOR Live. On ADE Saturday and Sunday, dive into a fully improvised hardware jam led by techno pioneer Speedy J, with interactive lighting and visuals orchestrated by spatial designer Karl Klomp. Expect an 8-hour whirlwind of unrestrained electronics. On Saturday Fjaak, KiNK, and Nene H will be joining Speedy J in the Main Hall. And the Sunday crew is Kangding Ray, Mathew Jonson, Rødhåd, Steffi, and Speedy J. Upstairs the Pink Noise foundation, will be taking over again, with on Saturday Emilio Arias, Lenxi, and Marijn S, and on Sunday DMX Krew, Marie K, Megan Leber, Niet zo Vierkant and Rachel Lyn.
