Navigating the full ADE Lab program can be a bit overwhelming. That's why we're working with the four new categories. Are you not sure whether you'll be the next big performing artist or more of an industry icon? ADE Lab requires little experience, just a lot of enthusiasm. With the ADE Lab Pass, you'll be able to dip your toes in the pools of all professions that make up our beautiful electronic music scene.

For those who have already found their unique talent, apply for one of the ADE Lab Courses connected to the categories.

We're offering everyone with an ADE Lab Pass the chance to apply for a dedicated course specifically aimed at your talent. Find which ADE Lab Course fits your dreams, and we'll connect you with one of the most significant faces of your field, plus your peers.

Out of all applications, we select 35 people with an ADE Lab Pass for every ADE Lab Course, all without any additional costs. Your mentors welcome you on ADE Wednesday with a kick-off event that includes a keynote talk and a masterclass. You'll end the expert day with community drinks, and you'll be able to explore the general program the rest of the week.

Lastly, if you get chosen to join one of the four ADE Lab Courses, you'll become an 'ADE Lab Alumni'. This means you'll get a 'Certificate of Completion' and a substantial discount on an ADE Pro Pass for next year. 〰 Remember: The pros of the future are made at ADE Lab!

You want to be as big as the best producers in the game! From your bedroom to the world: the names behind the biggest hits or performing artists show you how it's done during ADE Lab. Take your productions to the floor and learn how to take the next step in becoming a big name yourself.

Mentor: Sarz

Sarz is a Nigerian producer who found his calling in music. His journey includes selling beats, collaborating with stars like Wizkid and Burna Boy, and contributing to Grammy-nominated projects. Over the years, Sarz has produced chart-topping hits like 'Come Closer' by Wizkid and Drake, 'Bana' by Niniola, and 'Energy' by Skepta, solidifying his reputation as a powerhouse in the industry. Beyond his hit-making prowess, he founded The Sarz Academy to nurture emerging talents.

Visual Arts Course

This course is for you if:

Your interest in electronic music reaches beyond just the tunes. Are you into visual arts and the most massive light installations? Do you want to know how a show becomes a memory for a lifetime? The leading names in visual arts teach you everything about what makes technology emotional.

Mentors: Spekki Webu & Matti Vilho

Mirror Zone label-head and mysterious Chief Mind Expander Spekki Webu puts entire dance floors under his spell by whipping out his trippy tunes. Who better than Spekki Webu to show you visual reflections of his musical introspections? After joining ADE Lab in 2022 for his 'Curating Culture' panel, he now returns as a mentor of the Visual Arts Course, together with Matti Vilho.

This visual artist and director seamlessly weaves CG and real-time animation into surreal, sci-fi-infused landscapes. His work is a symphony of emotion and innovation and has been presented at places like Lunchmeat Festival, DeSchool, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Matti’s art transcends boundaries, inviting viewers into intricate, emotive worlds.

You are made for the stage! Is your USB stocked with the best music ever? Do you have the voice of an angel or the skills to turn every modular synth into something sweet? Do you have the skills but just no crowds yet? Let the masters teach you how to become a true pro. Who else could teach you better than the people who do it?

Mentor: LUXE

Few occupy the space that London-based artist LUXE has carved out in the electronic music scene for herself in recent years. As a DJ, she’s a fixture, noted for her unique talent to stand out on a wide range of lineups. As a producer, she is rapidly making a name for herself as a purveyor of thoughtfully multifaceted music that finds life on, and increasingly, beyond the dance floor. In the words of DJMag: 'LUXE makes it look easy.'

Industry Course

This course is for you if:

You have the walk and the talk. Do you see yourself killing it behind the scenes? Is agent, booker, event promotor, festival boss, or music journalist the profession you've always dreamed of? Bring your talent to the floor at ADE Lab and learn how you can kickstart your music industry career.

Mentor: Rocco Veenboer

Thirty years after he organised Amsterdam's 'first legal 'house party', Rocco Veenboer joins ADE Lab to teach others how this industry works. He's seen every aspect of the industry in all those years, besides building one of the biggest event brands in dance music: Awakenings. 'In 1997 we organized three parties, which together attracted around 10,000 visitors. Looking back now, we have welcomed over 3.5 million people to Awakenings.'

Rocco Veenboer brings out Tim Middelesch on stage, who took over the reins at Awakenings. Learn from the old and new directors at the global events organisation, which has been a pillar of ADE for years.
