Future Fresh your career with ADE University and Sprite
Want to kickstart your career in the ever-changing electronic music industry but don’t know where to start? ADE University and Sprite are partnering to give you a leg up during its three-day curriculum at Amsterdam’s Generator Hostel from Wednesday October 16th till October 19th. At ADE University you can explore ways to future-proof yourself and your resume to work in a business that is as fast-paced as this one.
Future Jobs
First off, the three-part Future Jobs panel program moderated by Billboard, sets out to help you forge your own path within the industry by grabbing up a job you couldn’t even think of just a decade ago. Pros in the form of Vanja Primorac, the mastermind behind Marshmello’s iconic Fortnite concert, Polina Zakh, an expert in show production with work for artists like Cardi B and Drake, and Andy Ng, a trailblazer in copyright protection and key figure in the Chinese music and streaming market, will show you your possibilities and share tips on how to grab up or create your dream job. Even if you’re settled where you are, this will be a chance to look at the changing shape of the industry and play visionary about the next few years too.
Refresher Course
Next to this, you will have the possibility to enrol in the ADE University Refresher Course by Sprite, where portrait photographers, HR professionals from companies within the industry and a career coach will make sure you stand out during your next job application in less than an hour.
Enrolment is easy but spaces are limited, so be quick. You can apply here until 12 PM on Tuesday October 15th. You just have to send in your resume and answer a short questionnaire.
Closing Drinks
Before ADE University comes to a close, it’s going out with a bang. During the closing drinks on Friday October 18th, ADE University alumni and young professionals can blow off the steam built up during the crash course in electronic music, evaluate with new friends, get in touch with tutors and dance to the sounds provided by two upcoming artists: Lyzza and Sojuju.
