Where There Is Light, Westerkerk, ADE Wednesday
Tamara Shogaolu is an international director and new media artist focused on sharing intersectional stories across mediums, platforms, and virtual and physical spaces in order to promote cross-cultural understanding and challenge preconceptions. ADE commissioned her to build an interactive installation that merges mental wellness with nature through technology, by allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a rainforest. Take a moment of tranquility on one of the five days of ADE at the central and iconic church Westerkerk and reconnect with nature.
Rush Hour Instore, Rush Hour Records, ADE Wednesday
Independent Music Store and label Rush Hour has quite the iconic status in Amsterdam and beyond. They have been distributing electronic music on vinyl since 1997. Rush Hour's instore sessions and DJ sets have been legendary already, with Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, and Pangaea of Hessle Audio stopping by for a set, plus Tom Trago, Dexter, Awanto3 of and Voyage Direct and many more having played before. You're welcome for instore DJ sessions on every day of ADE this year, on their location at Spuistraat 98.
Dagprogramma DS: Future Intel (Art & Music), De School, ADE Wednesday
One of the most iconic clubs of Amsterdam has come back to life this year! De School returns to ADE with a kick-off organised by The Hague-based collective and platform Future Intel. Their platform presents many forms of art and strives to have a good mix of artists that are shaping the future. Join them on ADE Wednesday to celebrate the full-force return of ADE and De School!

Kopstootbar is around the corner of the iconic Leidseplein and is the place to be if you want to socialize. The party never stops at the bar and eatery and they've got four nights of free events running from ADE Wednesday - ADE Sunday. One of them is seeing three musical collectives join forces for a night of R&B and hip-hop. Hop by the central located bar and experience a piece of Amsterdam that's typical Dutch.

Closeby Kopstootbar is Bar Maïa, a bar fully decorated with flowers and focused on disco, R&B, house, and hip-hop. The intimate venue invites you to join one of their five ADE events. Like This x The Lizard ADE Showcase is a free event with groovy house tunes, complimentary cocktails and bites and tech-house to entertain you later that night. DJs like Leandro Da Silva, Jake Tary, and Ayko take care of the tunes on ADE Thursday.
ADE Day Programme, Het HEM, ADE Friday
Art centre Het HEM has curated a day programme that’s free of charge to visit on ADE Thursday. Join Bogomir Doringer, Alyson Sillon, and Vinca Petersen in their panel talk about how dance and rave culture influence their work. A screening of the film ‘The Sun Has No Shadow’ by Rebecca Salvadori follows, a movie where concepts like intimacy, community, and liminality in contemporary London rave scenes are explored. Later that day, vinyl distributor One Eye Witness hosts a basement rave in the Dynamic Range Music Bar at Het HEM. In short: if you’re into arts and culture, drop by Het HEM!

Women of House is almost a tradition: on ADE Friday, the all-female event turns PRIK into a cheerful place to enjoy house music together. Women of House invites SHAKERS, a collective that aims for inclusivity, and dancing and shaking bodies. Filadelfia, Nina Sanetti, Raphaella Brown, and Rissa Garcia are part of the lineup on ADE Friday.

They celebrate their never-ending love affair with Nous'klaer Audio by inviting label artists and label favorites who showcase the ever-growing influence of the Rotterdam-based music label.

ADE Hangover — Free Entrance
Soften the blow of this year's wrap-up with the return of the ADE Hangover, a free event for all at NDSM. The ADE Hangover returns in style with a playground filled with fun activities, chill-out areas, good food and drinks, and DJs to end your ADE with a bang including Gabrielle Kwarteng, Intercity 106 (live), Bastienne, Jarreau Vandal, and Jade Soul, and many others. Dr. Martens, Jägermeister, and Provincie Noord-Holland join the festivities and both have heaps of surprises in store for us, so come join the party! Rejuvenate before you go home, or let it all out one last time.
