Breathe, Walk, Die
ADE and Rijksmuseum are entering into this collaboration to show lovers of classical art and electronic music that the two disciplines actually, truly reinforce each other. "Breathe, Walk, Die" is a theatrical performance consisting of three acts that bring the exhibition Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen at Rijksmuseum to life.
The show is based on the musical tour composed by DJ and producer upsammy for the exhibition under the direction of producer Tom Trago, in which life - from birth to death - is musically reflected through themes such as fear, desire, and ambition. Accompanied by live sounds by percussionist Valentina Magaletti and a visual interpretation by designer Theun Mosk.
The collaboration between ADE and the Rijksmuseum represents an important step for both institutions in merging various art disciplines to create unique, connecting experiences — showcasing electronic music's positive impact to cultural heritage to an even wider audience.
