Freelance Junior Festival Coordinator

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most upfront, influential and educational gathering for electronic music and its industry. With its conference, festival and educational breeding ground, ADE is able to create not only the biggest yearly industry tent-pole moment, but also a solid foundation for future generations of electronic music professionals. The event attracts a total of more than 1,000 events in nearly 200 locations across its multidisciplinary program; for five days and nights, the city of Amsterdam truly breathes electronic music.
For its upcoming edition the Amsterdam Dance Event foundation is looking for a Freelance Junior Festival Coordinator.
The job
As a Junior Festival Coordinator you’ll contribute to a flexible though tightly organized Festival program. You’ll maintain contact with locations, partners, labels and promoters and ensure the correct promotion of the program.
Most important responsibilities:
· Contribute to the coordination of hundreds of events during the ADE Festival;
· Maintain contacts with locations, labels, managers, clubs and (media) partners;
· Relationship management with all relevant stages, clubs and promoters;
· Care for the implementation of all agreements between ADE and the selected clubs / promoters;
· Responsible for Event Management of ADE Festival, where you have to switch between locations, ADE’s production and customer relations departments and the municipality;
· Proactive switching between marketers of clubs and promoters and the marketing department of ADE for the purpose of the campaign;
· Streamline the administrative processing of the ADE Festival.
Your profile
· You are a proactive team player who can also work independently;
· You know your way around Amsterdam’s night life;
· You easily make and maintain contacts;
· You have strong organizational skills;
· You are stress resistant:
· You can quickly switch between tasks and don’t get deterred easily;
· You are able to look further than individual interests;
· You have great communication skills in English and Dutch;
· Affinity with electronic music and all of its (sub)genres is a must;
· You live in or near Amsterdam.
