Festival Fund
Boost your ADE Event with the ADE Festival Fund
As Amsterdam Dance Event brings together an entire world of electronic music enthusiasts these days, the roots of which we came from will always be equally important, too. The ADE Festival Fund offers promoters the chance to apply for the ADE Fee. The ADE Fee is emphatically not a government subsidy, but an incentive to keep our scene vibrant. As a promoter, you can apply for a fee that supports the events you organise or host during Amsterdam Dance Event.
The ADE Fund
The ADE Festival Fund is an independent committee set up by the ADE Foundation to assess the applications for the ADE Fee. This committee consists of experts within different music industry disciplines who will be selected and appointed ADE Foundation. The ADE Foundation is not a part of the selection process of granding the ADE fee. We do this because the anonymous experts are not working for ADE to keep our process as fair as possible.

How does the ADE Fund work?
Each year, promoters get the chance to apply for the ADE Fee by e-mail. The applications for 2024 are closed, but the first plans for the future are never too early. An application for this contribution consists of a PDF of one or two pages with the location, motivation, program and line-up. An application for the ADE Fee can only be submitted for one specific event and will be tested and assessed as such by the ADE Fund. Please note: 1 application can be made per event with the possibility of multiple applications per promoter.
The ADE Fund assesses the applications for the ADE Fee by means of an expert review. This is the usual way of testing and assessment in the world of culture and science. After substantive testing and assessment, the experts of the ADE Fund arrive at a substantive assessment of the application for the ADE Fee in a joint meeting.
The criteria that the ADE Fund experts look out for are:
- Urgency of the contribution;
- Innovation – offering a platform/internship;
- Diversity – inclusion;
- (Local) talent development – growth;
- metsImpact on (local) electronic music and club culture beyond ADE.
