Willem van Soomeren (NL)

Since 2022, Willem has been ‘Account Manager Events’ at Sena, the collective management organization in the Netherlands representing over 50,000 performers and record companies.

After studying Media & Entertainment Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem, Willem mainly focussed on electronic dance music - a huge passion in his life. He started working as the head of program at Q-dance for multiple years. After that experience he expanded his horizons and worked with many other event organizers, record companies, performers, and music producers as a freelancer.

A big part of his daily work at Sena is licensing Dutch event organizers for the commercial use of music at their events. He is driven by ensuring a fair play for music creators.
