Virtual Geisha (PL)

Old-fashioned at heart and originating from the world of theater and philosophy, Virtual Geisha is a DJ, record collector, and educator who shifted her artistic direction to electronic music after ten years in the theater. She began her musical journey in 2014 and quickly became one of Poland's most intriguing selectors, known for her passion for obscure records.

Her goal, as a DJ and avid record digger, is to tell stories through the music she discovers on her travels. In her “It's VG” project, she celebrates the vastness of the musical universe by focusing primarily on 90s and 00s records, shining a spotlight on tracks forgotten in the digital era that deserve to be heard, played, and appreciated.

She is the curator of the Fresh Faces Stage at the Carbon Silesia Festival and co-creator of Carbon Academy—the educational program of Carbon Silesia Festival. Additionally, she is a member of the Dance Music Steering Committee at EMMA (European Music Managers Alliance) and the founder of the now-closed Pop Up Radio, which supported DJs during the pandemic. Occasionally, she works as a sound designer in theater and participates in multidisciplinary artistic projects.

Founder of VG DJ LAB—a DJ studio that integrates innovative educational processes, combining DJ technique instruction, creative mindset development, and strategic skills for navigating the electronic music industry. In 2023, VG DJ LAB was recognized by HEMI (Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation)—a project co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Commission—as one of the top 10 startups offering innovative solutions for the music sector.
