Vani Vachi (DE)

Vani Vachi is a live act, DJ, producer and songwriter. Being behind the decks internationally for a few years, Vani Vachi has arrived to a growing desire of transcending traditional boundaries of techno- and club-sounds. Hence, the performance will explore new ways of interacting with dance music, with a mixture of classic rave influences and experimental sounds, and live vocals presenting topics like feminism, technology and sexuality.

Her music taste has been shaped internationally, starting from her early years in London, and polished as being an important part of Kyiv’s rising scene, where she curated such parties as Outside and Gems in the underground club Otel’. Now she is based in Berlin, and is a long-term resident and partner of the queer collective Veselka, which have their home base in Revier Südost.

Over this time, notable events and collectives have captured her unique energy: Vani Vachi has been spotted in live-ups of Whole Festival, Feel Festival, Roskilde, Brave! Factory, ICKPA, Pornceptual, Gegen, RSO, FOLD, Rotte Sone, and more. She has also featured mixtapes in Mixmag, Rinse France, and have played multiple times in the infamous green bathroom Hör.

Being an up-and-coming part in the world of club music, Vani Vachi’s focus now is creating and producing sounds. In 2023, she released her first, 8-tracks EP on Diffuse Reality records, showing contemporary approach to oldschool trance, techno and electro references. In 2024, she started her live performance project, and released singles on Front Left Records & Pornceptual. She is currently working on her second EP, which will compile tracks created for live performance.
