Tobi Mohammad (NG)

Tobi Mohammed is a Nigerian entrepreneur with a master's degree in Telecom Engineering and Solutions Architecture/Data. He began his career at Softcom, where he quickly rose to become the VP of Marketing.

In 2013, Tobi founded TopBoy Entertainment, working with talents like Sess the PRBLM, Rayce, Boj, Bella Shmurda, and more. TopBoy has since grown into a full-fledged agency, handling noteworthy marketing campaigns for global brands.

Tobi also founded the BlockParty franchise, growing it to become the biggest youth festival out of Africa. Since its first edition in 2018, the BlockParty has been hosted in 11 cities across West Africa and the USA. As a speaker, he has contributed to notable panels and received awards for his contributions to companies like Diageo, Pernod Ricard, and more. Tobi merged TopBoy Entertainment with The Plug Entertainment, becoming Managing Partner and COO.

The company manages successful African artists and expanded into sports management. Tobi is passionate about sustainability and contributes his quota to initiatives that foster women empowerment, while volunteering and donating to initiatives like Christmas in Lagos and the BlockParty is Love Foundation.

Part of Tobi’s work with The Plug has also extended to global events like Felabration, where he is leading its cultural renaissance and appeal to the new generation of music lovers.
