Tjade (NL)

Uplifting prog house & early trance, or as Tjade describes it: “high energy dance floor music”. The Amsterdam DJ has been part of the Dutch underground dance scene for more than ten years and has seen a meteoric rise throughout Europe ever since he started producing his own music. His releases on labels such as Live at Robert Johnson, Bordello a Parigi, Polari, DGTL and Correspondant have been played by the likes of Job Jobse, Palms Trax, Hunee, VTSS and Marlon Hoffstadt, at festivals such as Dekmantel, AVA and Glastonbury.

Tjade’s path as a DJ has seen him play at respected clubs such as Opium Vilnius, Ministry of Sound London, Badaboum Paris, Harry Klein Munich and Wilden Renate Berlin, as well as festivals like Lowlands (closing show), Awakenings, Wildeburg, Into The Woods (closing show) and Best Kept Secret.

While finding his place in the electronic music scene, Tjade found the odds often stacked against lesser known artists when trying to find a good home for their music. So, in addition to playing and producing, Tjade now also releases music of promising talents under his record label Agrio Tracks; a reference to his favourite spot on an island the Aegean sea, where people from many different backgrounds would play music together and come to feel at home.
