Tara graduated from the famous BRIT School in the UK, alongside Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Leona Lewis. Aged 9, she performed in ‘’Les Miserables’’ at The Palace Theatre, London. At 12, she performed alongside Jude Law at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Also during this year she represented the UK and won the internationally televised children’s singing competition ‘’The Danny Kaye Award’’ which was hosted by Audrey Hepburn. Tara became the youngest child ambassador for UNICEF. Soon after she performed live on stage or in recording studios alongside many rock and pop legends such as Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), Roger Taylor (Queen), Roger Walters (Pink Floyd), Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), Jocelyn Brown, Eric Clapton and Ringo Star (The Beatles). Tara worked closely with Bryan Ferry on his ‘’Dylanesque’’ album, both performing and arranging backing vocals. The first track Tara collaborated on as a songwriter was ‘’Stronger Together’’ recorded by the Irish Boy Band D-Side (produced by Cut Father And Joe), which reached #2 in Ireland and became the title track of their album which reached #1 in Japan in 2004 ! Tara has collaborated with some of the biggest producers worldwide with more than 20 tracks that reached the top 10 in the international charts. She has an abundance of hits : featuring on Armand Van Helden’s worldwide smash ‘’My My My’’, co-wrote and featured on ‘’Feel The Vibe’’ by Axwell, Todd Terry on ‘’Get Down’’ and with David Guetta on ‘’Delirious’’ that reached #2 Belgium, #16 Switzerland, #12 The Netherlands, #16 France... and ‘’You’re Not Alone’’ which featured on David Guetta’s platinum selling ‘’Pop Life album’’, that reached #2 France, #4 Belgium, #8 Switzerland... In addition, Tara also collaborated with Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Sidney Samson, Chuckie and Laidback Luke. In 2010/2011 she performed at Tomorrowland, the biggest dance festival in Europe, on the main stage with Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Dada Life singing the official Anthem for the festival ‘’Give into The Night/Tomorrow’’ that she co-wrote and co-produced which reached #16 in Belgium charts. She also scored another Beatport no.1 with ‘’Shake It’’ produced by Lee Cabrera and Thomas Gold. Tara was also awarded ‘’Best Voice of the Dance Scene of 2011’’ by Only For Djs magazine. In 2012, Tara signed a 2 album recording contract as a top priority artist to Mercury/Universal records. Her first album is due for release in 2015. Her first solo single ‘’Give Me More’’, much to everyone’s surprise was a pop record and was one of the most playlisted tracks in France, Belgium and Switzerland, reaching #10 Radio Airplay. 4 years after their first successful collaboration, David Guetta decided to call Tara to feature on a new record he made with Afrojack called ‘’Pandemonium’’ released on the ‘’F*** Me I’m Famous’’ compilation that reached #5 France, #20 UK and #24 USA charts. As a world renowned vocalist and described as ‘’The White singer with the black voice’’ by Rolling Stone Magazine, it was no surprise Tara was invited to be an assistant vocal coach on the first television series of The Voice (Belgium). Tara was asked by a national radio station in France to create her own weekly dance music radio show, ‘’I Like This Beat’’ and after 2 years is broadcasted weekly in over 40+ countries, on 50+ FM radio stations around the world, onboard Emirates Airlines, and is also available as a worldwide podcast on Mixcloud, DJPod and itunes ! Contrary to all expectations, in 2013, the Queen of the Dance, Tara and the platinum selling Queen of R&B French-Canadian Zaho, joined together for a collaboration, a single called ‘’Shooting Star’’. The track is sung in English and in French. This unexpected collaboration was critically acclaimed for its artistic originality – #18 French TV Airplay – #28 French iTunes pop charts – #5 French Radios Airplay and #16 Belgium. To close the year 2013, Tara was honoured to win the prestigious prize of "Best voice of the dance scene" at the Fashion Music Awards in Shanghai. 2014 was the year of the live tour, performing at some of the biggest events and festivals around the world : Ultra Music Festival in Seoul alongside MIA and Far East Movement. performed a bespoke show for the Exit Festival in Budva (Montenegro) alongside Example and Jamiroquai. Tara was picked to be "La Marraine" (The Godmother) of the LGBT Pride in Paris, performing on the main stage at Place de la Republique in front of 500,000 people. While on tour she co wrote and featured on the single ‘’A Place To Go’’ for a new upcoming producer, Investo. The song reached #2 in the Greek charts on the first day of release! She also reached #15 in Russia with the single ‘’The Renegades’’ that she co wrote and featured on with Russia’s no 1 DJ/Producer DJ Smash. In September 2014 Tara is back with a new solo record called ‘’Vay K’’ featuring the hip hop legend... Snoop Dogg ! Co written by Snoop Dogg himself and Tara, produced by Nathan Duvall (one third of the UK dance act The Disciples, who also produced ‘’Move’’ for Little Mix which sold Gold in the UK & Australia). The single reached #16 Belgium, #18 Switzerland and #10 French airplay. In February 2015, the famous French urban multi Platinum awarded record producer Tefa and the British "Queen" of dance met accidentaly in Paris. The duo locked themselves in a studio and worked on a new experimental production merging country pop and dance music. ‘’Happy Hour’’ was born. The song became the 2nd lead single from the compilation album ‘’TPMZ’’ (Don’t touch my music ») from the no. 1 hit TV talk show in France ‘’TPMP’’ (Don’t Touch my TV), after Cris Cab with his cover of ‘’English Man In New York’’. The week of Happy Hour’s release, the single reached Best New Entry of all the French club charts !
