Sofía Muñoz (ES)

Sofía is the Head of Platform at Seaya, a leading Venture Capital firm with offices in Madrid, London, and Mexico. Seaya manages over €650 million and invests in visionary entrepreneurs building global technology companies.


Before joining Seaya, Sofía spent five years leading Venture Capital partnerships at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Her entire career has been focused on the tech industry, spanning both Big Tech and high-growth startups, including being an early Facebook employee. She also led the establishment of Brainly's Barcelona office and oversaw the company’s expansion into Latin America, helping grow the platform into the largest social network for students, with 15 million unique users.


In addition to her role at Seaya, Sofía is deeply involved in the entrepreneurial community, serving as a mentor and advisor with a focus on Go-to-market strategies and fundraising.


Sofía holds a Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering with honors from the University of Sevilla, and an Executive MBA from IESE. She also holds an MA in Innovative Business Models from KTH (Stockholm) and TU Wien, as well as a specialized degree in New Business Models from the Vodafone Foundation and the University of Sevilla.
