Sita Shah (GB)

Sita Shah is a DJ & award winning Creative Director from London. She’s a member of the Daytimers and Sisu collectives and resident DJ at techno night Makaan.

She focuses on “breaking the rules”, by making archaic industries more equitable, decentralised and innovative.

In her music work, Sita demonstrates a different way of navigating the familiar techno zone, going fast and furious with a crate of self-styled “desi techno”. Think four-to-the-floor mixed with tricked-out Bollywood edits and bhangra basslines going 100 miles an hour.

In her arts & culture focused work, she focuses on telling brave stories with nuance, leading purpose-led campaigns for major brands.Think music videos with orchestras made up entirely of women of colour for Netflix or campaigns to make sport more accessible with Nike.
