Daniele 'Shield' Contrini is the creative mastermind and owner of the acclaimed Rebirth
Records. His journey into the realm of music began back in 1998, when he joined forces
with Bacci Productions to remix tracks for the iconic New York label, Easy Street.
After an exciting five-year stint as A&R and promoter at Oxyd Records, in 2006, he
decided to create his very own musical powerhouse, Rebirth.
Over the years, his musical magic has also graced labels such as Cadenza, Yellow, Miso,
Renaissance, Slip’N Slide, Sony Music, and Z Records, not to mention his notorious
unofficial re-edits of House Music classics. These re-imagined classics, including Frankie
Knuckles' 'Tears,’ Lil' Louis' 'Club Lonely,’ Alison Limerick ‘Where Love Lives’ and A Guy
Called Gerald's 'Vooodoo Ray,’ have garnered support from electronic music's finest.
With his unique soundscapes, Shield has captivated audiences in some of the world's
most iconic clubs, from Tresor in Berlin and Output in New York, to Djoon and Badaboum
in Paris, Ministry Of Sound in London, and the legendary Pacha and Eden in Ibiza.
