Rosa (NL)

Based in the ever charming city of 's-Hertogenbosch, Rosa has become a well- known face in the south of The Netherlands. Facing limited nightlife options in her hometown, Rosa discovered alternative ways to flourish at night leading her into organizing her own free outdoor parties and founding the collective known as 'Rooibosch’. Beside hosting parties, she also organizes free of charge music production courses and DJ lessons for local talent, to show that the southern region has much more to offer than meets the eye.

Rosa's musical identity defies easy categorization as she draws from a wide range of rhythms and genres. She started collecting records in her late teenage years, which contained a broad collection of world music at that time. When playing, she loves
combining this earlier passion with bass heavy and percussion driven electronic music, always trying to keep it dynamic with energy shifts.
