Together they formed a friendship that helped bring a refreshing sound and MC’ing style to the Dubstep world. Rods Reggae background and positive outlook on life gave the crowds a much needed breathe of fresh air. Shortly after, Rod featured on the Caspa & Rusko FABRICLIVE37 which was the first Dubstep compilation to reach the masses via the infamous Fabric Records series. Rod has performed at Europe’s largest clubs and festivals such as Glastonbury, Global Gathering & EXIT performing on the same bill as the likes of The Arctic Monkey’s, Lilly Allen and Roots Manuva. He continues to do so and now holds down a monthly residency at the infamous Fabric nightclub in London. Crossing the Atlantic Ocean Rod has toured the states as part of Rusko’s live show and with Dub Police alongside Caspa on his massive shows across USA & Canada, Australia & New Zealand Lollapalooza, WMC, Ultra festival, Hard Fest, Stereosonic Aus & Our House NZ. Rod Azlan has played to sold out events at venues such as LA’s House Of Blues, Denver’s Cervantes Ballroom and Webster Hall New York. Rod Azlan is featured on Flesh & Bone by Emalkay on his new LP “Eclipse” this track has been getting a lot of attention watch out for it in 2011 Rod Azlan has released “Big Tunes Are Playing ep” on his own Azlan Entertainment record label and featured production from Daddy Ruff Jnr, J Kenzo & Markomen. Also featured a remix from Australia’s Filth Collins. Rod Azlan says KEEP PUSHING THE GOOD VIBRATIONS and his onstage presence, persona and charm clearly reflect this. A clear example of how lords of the microphone can spread positive energy to the world’s music lovers.
