Reza Fathi (NL)

Reza Fathi is the co-founder of Verknipt, the leading hard techno organization in the world. Reza began his career in 2006 organizing events, focusing initially on the house and EDM scenes before taking a hiatus in 2010 when he felt a disconnect with the music and culture. In 2012, inspired by a growing passion for techno and a move to Amsterdam, Reza founded Verknipt. Initially starting the venture alone, Reza was soon joined by his business partner Mer Hajbarati, and together they transformed Verknipt into the successful and impactful organization it is today. At Verknipt, Reza focuses on the operational side, managing production, finance, and logistics, while ensuring seamless execution of events.

Verknipt has evolved significantly under Reza’s leadership, growing from a small team into a powerhouse known for its hard-hitting techno events thrown around the world. Since 2019, the company has focused on harder styles of techno, responding directly to audience demand and achieving remarkable success.
