RDJ (NL)

RDJ started playing records in 1992 in the northern part of Holland in a local club. After moving to Groningen he performed across the Netherlands alongside national and international DJ’s in different clubs and locations (among others the Mazzo, Trance Buddha, Vera, Simplon, Tagrijn, Effenaar, Zuidas Kapel and Doornroosje). Abroad he deejayed at several events and clubs in Newcastle, Berlin, Frankfurt and Belgium and in Holland at Eurosonic, New Frontier, Blue Moon and several Fifth of May Festivals. As one of the founders of the notorious club night Bingo Bongo in Groningen, where he was a resident DJ, he invited artists like Frank Müller, DJ Valium, Oliver Kapp, PA presents and Eva. Along the years RDJ produced lots of unreleased tracks which can often be heard in his DJ-sets. Since 2002 RDJ resides in Holland’s capital Amsterdam, playing at numerous underground parties and local venues. Today he frequently appears on Pleasure Seekerz events and recently he did a dj set at Restival and a surprise performance on Magneet festival, as well as playing at annual friendly events on New Years Eve and Queensday together with G-String and PTR. With long known DJ buddy Haisu he started the BAR WEST pop-up rave concept to promote a wholesome musical experience by combining house, techno and psychedelic. RDJ plays a combination of deep house, hi-tech soul, sexy techno and aesthetic progressive. He is known to play a warm, grooving and sparkling set of quality music.
