Ricardo van den Heuvel started DJ’ing in 2005 when a friend bought him his first vinyl. He is known from the amazing underground parties “Diepgezonken” at special locations in Amsterdam. He was involved with several events afterwards and had a resi-dency at club Panama.
After playing the records he started a new challenge, Producing. Together with David Hülsken under the name Hulsken & Heuvel. Together they performed energetic livesets at venue's like Paradiso, Melkweg and Studio 80! As a DJ his sound can be described best as a mix of Deep Techno and house. Ricardo will be the host of the Random Vinyl Marathon with his cultural venue QRU.
He will therefore perform under the name QRU Soundsystem.
