Owen Kiernan (GB)

Owen Kiernan is Head of Digital at Cr2 Records, where he is responsible for ensuring the labels output is delivered and represented on DSPs and arranging promotional opportunities for their music. Having started his music career behind the counter of a central London record store back in 2006, he moved to Cr2 in 2013, before spending six years at independent distributor Kudos Records. He returned to Cr2 in 2021 and has overseen a period of sustained success at the label including platinum records from Matt Sassari and Hugel.

Owen also writes a weekly newsletter on Substack called In Strict Tempo (instricttempo.substack.com) where he shares his views on music industry topics and reviews the latest electronic and experimental music.
