Odunayo Eweniyi is an entrepreneur with a portfolio of ventures driving change across Nigeria’s fintech, media, and entertainment industries. She is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of PiggyVest, Nigeria's largest digital savings and micro-investment platform, which serves over 5 million users. PiggyVest has revolutionised financial management for Nigerians by providing easy-to-use tools for saving and investing, helping individuals build financial security and independence.


In addition to PiggyVest, Odunayo co-founded FirstCheck Africa, a pre-seed and seed-stage investment fund that focuses on high-growth startups led by women. FirstCheck Africa is committed to closing the gender funding gap in technology by empowering female founders with the capital and support they need to succeed in Africa’s dynamic tech ecosystem.


Odun also started Carousel Network, a podcast production company in Nigeria that is shaping the media landscape with diverse, high-quality content that amplifies African female voices. The flagship podcast, I Said What I Said, has just concluded a 3-city UK live show tour with north of 2,000 attendees. Carousel Network is dedicated to building a thriving podcast culture by producing stories that resonate with local and global audiences.


In the entertainment space, she co-founded Plur Africa, an electronic music agency based in Nigeria. Plur Africa is home to the flagship event Group Therapy, which has become a standout in the country’s electronic music scene. The agency also has three resident DJs, showcasing African talent and promoting the growth of electronic music on the continent.


Odun’s ventures are united by her vision to build inclusive platforms that empower individuals and communities while fostering growth in underserved industries.
