Nimmy Garcha (GB)

Speaker (Diaspora Artists)

Nimmy has been working as a women’s safety advocate consulting with Night Time Economy Solutions to make the night life sector a safer place and end violence against women by delivering award-winning anti-sexual harassment, anti-drink spiking, by-stander intervention and recognising vulnerability training sessions.

Being responsible for leading these educational discussions and training and delivering this to various enterprises that operate in the night time economy. Including, but not limited to; nightclubs, bars, theatres, local councils, and music industry professionals to educate them on the importance of safeguarding their venues, festivals and night life spaces to protect their staff and patrons from the sexual harassment and assault that is rife across the nightlife sector. Violence against women and girls is a pandemic, and if you run a business that operates in the nightlife sector in any capacity this must be something you take into consideration.

In addition, Nimmy has been an artist manager for the past 8 years and most recently launched her own artist management company, Diaspora Artists, which is an artist management company focusing on representing voices from various under-represented diasporas in the music industry.
