Naoki Osada (JP)

Naoki is the President of Avex USA Inc., the Los Angeles subsidiary of Japanese music giant Avex, where he is leading music innovation and music publishing/creatives. In 2018, he founded a corporate music-tech accelerator program "Avex Future of Music", which consists of the investment arm based in LA and the business development arm with portfolio companies based in Tokyo. He has invested in 5 cutting edge music-tech startups so far, one of which is Wave that specializes on virtual concerts and has worked with numerous dance music DJs, such as W&W, Kill The Noise, TOKiMONSTA and so on. In addition, he partners with a startup accelerator Techstars Music, and music-tech venture capital Plus8 Equity Partners. He joined Avex as J-Pop A&R in 2004, and earned his MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2015.
