Monibi (FR)

Monibi is a sound system enthusiast and avid digger from France. She works as a DJ, music producer, mixing & live sound engineer in Berlin. A long station in the UK anchored her sound in bass and converted her to low end therapy, still Monibi always favours vibe over genre dogmatism. Her eclectic approach to murky bass has been heard at Fusion, CTM Festival, or Boiler Room repping her productions released on Martyn's label, 3024, as well as other up and coming Berlin labels like W133 or Twisting Knobs Records.

Monibi's concerns with making the music industry a more diverse and community-driven environment has led her to work as a speaker and music technology educator since 2016. Most recently she’s been active as a mentor for various projects such as Femme Bass Mafia and Polyton TLNT. Monibi's hosted workshops and been a speaker for the Berlin Club Commission, Minibooth, JugendWohnProjekt MittenDrin e.V., Tag Der Klubkultur, Refuge Worldwide, Gretchen Club, Eclat Crew Berlin, Kölncampus Radio, THF Radio, and many more.
