Moe Shalizi (US)

Moe Shalizi is a talent manager and entrepenuer. His client roster includes: Tiesto, Marshmello, Jauz, Ookay, Slushii, Borgeous, Ghastly, Sikdope, and Southside (808 Mafia). Shalizi joined Red Light Management in 2015 and helps lead their electronic division. Bio Moe Shalizi was born on April 11, 1990 in Palm Springs, CA. He grew up in Irvine, CA attending his freshman year at Northwood High School and later moving to Corona, CA where he graduated from Santiago High School. Shalizi then went on to attend the University of California Riverside (UCR) earning his Bachelors degree in Finance. Career Shalizi began his music career at the age of 21, promoting his own dance music parties at a local bar in Corona, CA where he would DJ while he was still a student at UCR. From there he started to organize a series of dance concerts which had great success and created some of new relationships for him . With limited knowledge in the music industry, Shalizi was convinced to begin managing some of the electronic artists that he was booking. After graduating college, Shalizi was faced with the decision of pursuing a career in finance or remaining a music manager. His gut said music and after two years of struggling to earn his keep, Shalizi’s persistency finally paid off. In 2014, Jauz, a newly signed developing client, released the hit single “Feel The Volume” which caught the attention of the entire dance industry. In 2015 he joined Red Light Management, and had also began building a annoynmous producer named Marshmello who today has become one of the most desired and dominate stars in music. A majority of the contagious Marshmello brand can be attributed to Shalizi’s creative and marketing genius. Since then Shalizi has grown his roster to feature 8 artists ranging from DJ’s to Hip Hop producers. He frequently speaks at conferences and seminars globally including the Pollstar Live Conference, EDMbiz Conference, and Amsterdam Dance Event to name a few. Featured on Billboard Magazines “Dance Power Players” 2017 list, Shalizi is well respected by his industry peers and artists alike.
