Minimal Default (NL)

Sven, born in August 1992, was immersed in electronic music from a young age. Artists like Faithless, Massive Attack, and St. Germain served as the soundtrack to his upbringing. This early exposure sparked his interest in electronic music and DJing, leading him to enroll in a DJ course at the local community center at the age of 12.

From there, DJing and producing became more than a hobby for Sven. Initially exploring various styles and genres, he gradually found his passion in techno, characterized by hard-hitting, groovy percussion, deep, hypnotic synths, and dirty basslines.


Minimal Default's releases, such as "The Apex E.P." on Barcelona-based PRX Records and "Collision" (self-release), have gained recognition, with tracks played by the likes of Freddy K on Krzrzrz Radio. Sets by Minimal Default are defined by hypnotic rhythms and minimalism, creating a sonic experience that resonates with all audiences.
