Mike van Loon has been at the forefront of music and marketing since 1996. His journey began with organizing event series such as Showcase for TMF and Radio 538, followed by producing special product CD's for clients like Heineken and Pepsi. In 2000, Mike joined the newly launched Hedkandi label and played a pivotal role in organizing the brand's first-ever event, designed to support the sales of Hedkandi’s iconic CDs.

As an independent freelancer Mike has provided strategic marketing support for major brands, including United Recordings and MTV Netherlands, where he contributed to the channel's successful launch. He also served as a marketing executive for Radio 538’s Sales department, one of the Netherlands' largest radio stations.

Mike is also a resident DJ for Hedkandi’s global events, spinning tunes that embody the brand’s timeless sound.
