20-year old Dutch DJ and producer Maurice West has already made huge moves in the dance music community, signing to W&W’s imprint Mainstage Music as their first artist as well as joining the Armada team within just a year after releasing his first track. Maurice set his goals at a young age, growing up in a family of skillful musicians and exploring instruments like the piano, guitar and drums. In 2015 he released a streak of hard hitting tracks like Blaze (Sweet Lies) and Kung Fu (with Kenneth G), earning him a following that acknowledges him for his own recognizable sound. The sound waves that leave his studio always have a heavy and exciting beat blended with powerful and catchy melodies. Combining his musical background and abilities to create progressive and electro house makes him push boundaries by mixing sounds from different genres of music. Not playing by the rules and letting go of the conventions within genres is what makes Maurice a fresh new talent on the scene. Maurice’s work is getting him massive support from the dance music elite, such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix and Nicky Romero. Bigroom legends W&W have taken him under their wings and blow away huge festival crowds like Tomorrowland and Ultra with his tunes. By dropping bangers like Poseidon, Dojo and TEMPLE (with hardstyle legends D-Block & S-Te- Fan), Maurice is taking the download charts and radio airwaves by storm.
