Mark Jacobs (NL)

Just like hip hop, Mark was born in ‘73. His musical journey began with making mixtapes filled with ’80 s funk, boogie and rap records, at the same time collecting anything O-(+> related on vinyl. As a club kid during the '90s rave-wave, he couldn't get enough of this new underground movement occupying dance floors worldwide. During lockdown, Mark found solace in the online "Time Machine Sessions" hosted by the legendary Easy Mo Bee - first on IG Live and later on Twitch. Inspired by the vibrant community, he started blending vinyl and digital tunes himself via this platform too - popping up at events such as Analog Days, Raiders Of The Lost Art, Coffee & Donuts, Feels Like Friday. Now thanks to the good people of A Saturday Night Experience/ConneqtingTheDots also irl from his home town Amsterdam.
