Originally from Rotterdam, Marco has been working as an art director in Amsterdam for 20+ years at agencies such as Y&R, Ogilvy, N=5, and Selmore. Currently, he works at Buutvrij, an agency that channels its creative power toward brands aiming to make the world a bit better. He has developed campaigns for brands like IKEA, Auping, LOI, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, and Ford, winning several (inter)national awards. He has a strong affinity for humor and storytelling and has a particular passion for making radio commercials. He dedicates a lot of love and attention to the visual aspects of his commercials; however, he knows that music is key for evoking emotions and strengthening the concept.
