Loradeniz represents a multidisciplinary music and art project conceived by Deniz Omeroglu, originally from Istanbul and residing in Amsterdam since 2017. Loradeniz is a pianist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound designer, producer and a DJ. The soundscapes of her productions exude a mystical, authentic quality, featuring processed vocal work, deep-layered melodies, and compelling percussions. Her fluid versatility and creative prowess in productions lean towards Downtempo, Techno, Ambient, and Experimental. Drawing inspiration from her deep knowledge of instruments and musical theory, she incorporates these elements into both her productions and DJ sets. She expresses herself in diverse ways, consistently employing layered melodies to create a versatile sound that builds atmospheres connected with energetic drums, hypnotic rhythms, and deep melodies. As a DJ she played at Dekmantel Festival, Sonar Festival, De School, :// about blank, Dekmantel Selectors, Garage Noord, Fiber Festival, Sameheads, arkaoda to new a few.

Since 2020, she has held a residency at Radio TNP and has been running the b2b mixtape series “The Ottoman Export." The mixtape series continues its journey on RRFM in 2024. As a guest, she has appeared on NTS, Refugee Worldwide, dublab, Mutant Radio, Noods Radio and Rinse FM. In addition to her solo independent releases since 2015, she collaborated with Interstellar Funk on an LP in 2023, had a solo film scoring release on Nous’klaer in 2024, and contributed to numerous VA releases in recent years.

Deniz embarked on her musical journey at a young age, commencing piano lessons at 5 and enrolling in the Music Conservatory to study classical piano at 7. She pursued this path until her Music Production & Composition studies in Bachelor. Quickly developing an interest in minimal, contemporary, and electronic music, she began composing and producing her own music. Following the completion of her studies in Istanbul, she moved to the Netherlands to join a Master's Program in Sound Design. Since then, she composed music and did sound design for various art disciplines, contemporary theater & dance projects, exhibitions, short films and records.
