Liza Dries (NL)

The audiovisual work of Liza Dries connects the immediacy of pop and electronic music with the ethereal. Her songs depict a world much softer than reality, where intimate themes are alienated by digital, glitchy sounds and distorted vocals. Dries released two EPs with Cologne-based label Safe Space Records: „Tegenkomer“ in 2021 and „RL“ in 2022. Her debut album, „Year of Romance“ (YOR), will be released in February 2025 on Intercept Records (House of Coloray, Tsepo, Ineffekt), conjuring a palette where the DNA of hyperpop, shoegaze, breakbeat, house and ambient music coalesce.
