Meet Lifecycle, a swiftly rising dubstep producer with drum & bass roots. The sounds of early Black Sun Empire, Audio, Tech Itch, Bad Company and Noisia, as well as the deeper vibes of Icicle and Nymfo shaped his musical taste. However, it was the discovery of dubstep through tunes such as Skream's Hag and Tyrant's Adnauseum which changed Lifecycle's musical fate forever. Its sheer impact, diverse vibe and varied background opened up a completely new sonic landscape for Lifecycle to explore – with success. In 2011. Lifecycle's first two releases dropped – the diverse Captain Bassline EP on MWM and Zero X/Prime Time on Styx Recordings. Now, at the end of 2012, he has shown his musical colours through remixing NCT's 'Loving Memories', having his killer 'Zero X' remixed by Requake for the giant Subway label and collaborating with Lost, from the Hench family. Now signed to Subway Music, Lifecycle has turned into an internationally wanted & booked DJ. His tunes have gotten support from some of the scene's absolute biggest; Skream, Benga, Modestep, Hatcha, Funtcase, Lost, Zeds Dead, Badklaat, Requake and Shiverz. His musical evolution has not stopped just yet; Lifecycle continues along a path of gritty, sub-driven dubstep and switches to melodic vibes suited to every crowd and dancefloor. His live-sets follow a similar track, but are also proof of his broad background and love for breakbeats: diversity is the key-word.
