Leigh Taurean is a London based DJ & Producer, who first immersed herself in the underground club scene on moving to the city a decade ago. After some time spent as a raver, she decided to take the plunge & get behind the decks herself, playing sets at a multitude of local venues across the capital as well as in Ibiza over the following years. Although a lover of all things house, her sound is particularly rooted in bass & rave music influences, with a strong affection for 90s dance culture & catchy vocals. 2018-2019 saw her have initial releases on Sleazy G and be shortlisted in the Top 50 for the Smirnoff Equalizing Music DJ competition, a campaign which aimed to raise the profile of female artists in the electronic music genre. After a few years hiatus around the pandemic to focus more primarily on developing her production skills further and lining up demos for release, she has returned to the scene properly with a bang in 2024, launching her online radio show with Data Transmission & now landing her first big stage club set at Melkweg as part of the ADE X DJ Mag Club Lab open call. She can’t wait to see what her first trip to the ‘Dam has in store!
