Lee Collins (US)

Soul In The Hole is a roving disco, funk and soul party run by two veteran selectors from Chicago: Sadar Bahar and Lee Collins. Over the last few years they've taken the event from its Windy City home to one-off gigs in Adelaide, London, Croatia and Berlin. They're both prodigious record collectors whose roots go back to Ron Hardy's Music Box in the '80s. Collins even held a Friday night residency at the mythic house club, and hosted the influential Disco Madness radio show on WHPK. Bahar was last in town in February for a Kolekti loft party, and they're doing it again at an open-air venue next month.
