Kristiaan Kiwitz (NL)

Originally hailing from the southern city of Tilburg, Kristiaan has called Amsterdam his home for over 15 years now. His passion for electronic music has been driven by the rich scene in Amsterdam. Particularly the eclectic sound – where any style goes as long as it flows - championed at venues like Trouw, De School and Dekmantel Festival fueled his passion for dance music and has shaped his ever-ongoing desire to discover new music.

He has a passion for digging and blending together sounds spanning over several decades, every corner of the world and all subgenres of house, techno, electro & disco. Whether it’s soulful and uplifting vibes for a sunny afternoon, or dark and melancholic tunes that would fit a dark and sweaty basement. Of late his sound has increasingly moved towards 80s & 90s inspired electro and progressive house & progressive trance.

Kristiaan’s DJing kicked off properly when he obtained a residency at Amsterdam’s Bar Prik in the fall of 2019, showcasing his all-round skills by combining his house and disco gems with classics and pop. During COVID, Kristiaan brought his beloved disco and house sound to audiences at intimate home parties and livestreams at Ravelock, Amsterdam Homestream Live and as a guest DJ at AMW.FM. These experiences eventually culminated in the launch of the weekly show Trinamic at AMW.FM in May 2022. In partnership with Alex Hent and Thom David, Trinamic explores deep, melodic and progressive house and techno in the broadest possible way.
