KILIMANJARO (GB)

Artist

Born in the UK with Zambian heritage, KILIMANJARO is known for combining Afro-centric rhythms with Western elements to create genre-bending records.

Known for his high-energy performances and his crowd-raising persona, KILIMANJARO is no stranger to starting parties and never fails to leave a night with new fans, excited to see him perform again. 2021 saw KILIMANJARO launch his own brand, KILIMANJARO MUSIC, which allowed him to focus on championing black, POC, female, and other marginalised DJs and producers from up and down the country. The brand manifested itself in the form of club nights and parties in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and a monthly radio residency on Project Radio.

2022 saw him personally invited by Fred again.. to support on numerous shows, including their now legendary Boiler Room stream together (over 1.2 million views on Youtube and counting), leading to a sought-after residency at Phonox in London, where he took control of the club for four consecutive weeks back in April. His tour schedule this past summer has been packed with some of the biggest festivals and clubs in Europe, including Glastonbury, Kappa Futur Festival, Circo Loco at DC10 and Warehouse Project. His music has been played out by the likes of Jamie Jones, Pete Tong, Skream, and many more while his monthly show on the world famous Rinse FM goes from strength to strength.

Forthcoming, KILIMANJARO will be performing at high-profile shows, including Ushuaia Closing in Ibiza, DGTL Festival in Mumbai & Bangalore, Warehouse Project, and his All Night Long show at the legendary Village Underground in London on November 3rd.

On top of this, KILIMANJARO has been extremely active in the studio, working on tracks with the likes of Junior Simba, Melé and Rami Ali as well as remixing for Django Django ft. Self Esteem and Tibasko. Bringing his rhythmic energy and unique vocal style to all of his productions has allowed him to truly express himself. There’s lots to come from him this year and into 2024, so keep an eye on this space.
