Katalist, formerly known as Clinixx, is a multitalented Belgian DJ versed in the genres of House and Techno. Charting his course as a professional DJ in 2009, he has been behind the decks ever since. Refining his skills and talents over the years while experimenting with various genres of music under the alias “Clinixx”; he performed at many festivals and held numerous residencies during his time in South Africa. Taking his career to the next level in 2016, this 27 year old DJ rebranded as Katalist as he gained a profound likeness for the ambience of House and the blood pumping vibes of Techno. Igniting an emotional reaction, he is the driving force, the interconnected sensation between the music and audience. Bringing blissful harmony to the ears of listeners, Katalist concocts a simmering mix of vibrant, lush and nostalgic sounds, from funky House to pounding acid Techno. With no releases on the books yet, Katalist constantly engages in learning new techniques, as he continues to evolve artistically and work on composing original music. Influenced by artists such as Butch, Agoria, ,Moderat, David August, Jon Hester, Johannes Heil, I hate models, and Âme; Katalist went on to perform at some of the biggest clubs throughout Europe in countries like Belgium, Spain, France, the Netherlands and most recently at the legendary nightclub “Larocca”. Utilizing his entrepreneurial abilities, Katalist plans to establish “Perfect Pitch”, a private deejay school that caters to anyone with a passion for music, regardless of experience or age. On the path to achieve his dream of making a living as a professional DJ, Katalist hopes to further his career in the electronic music industry, by hitting huge venues across the globe with his musical presence. Whether he’s playing guitar, drums or spinning on the decks, Katalist continues to radiate.
